A landscape photography blog by Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire based landscape photographer Rob Thorley Photography.

Having the Staffordshire Peak District on my door step is fantastic. This particular evening there was no other plan than to go and stand somewhere that I hadn't stood before, and take an image. This particular composition is taken from the foot of Hen Cloud looking back towards the end profile of The Roaches.

A different perspective of The Roaches.

Definitely a great way to spend an hour, or so, with the added bonus of some nice golden hour light, and clouds.
