First time visit to Bamford Edge in the Derbyshire Peak District, and I have to say it was very enjoyable. The forecast was indicating 80% high cloud towards sunset, with the wind dropping. Unfortunately the clouds cleared well before sunset, and the wind never dropped, which made for a challenging time up top.

The views across to Win Hill, Crook Hill, Ladybower reservoir, and the Ashopton Viaduct were fantastic, and I'll definitely be going back for round two.

You can view more images from Bamford Edge, and my gallery of other Peak District locations.
